Sad To The Bone.

Is it me, or are some people just stupid?

Why is it that certain types of men (and I’m afraid it always is men) feel that it is necessary to play their music to everyone when they are driving around? If they think that it impresses the ladies then they are sadly mistaken. All the girls that I have mentioned it to think it’s just plain dumb. Dumb or sad; take your pick.

It’s really annoying when you are walking down the street somewhere and a car goes past with music blaring away. It’s always a naff song and it’s always too loud. If I want to hear all of the latest crap that is in the charts then I can just put on Radio 1. Perhaps these people are at war with their own ears? If you fancy going deaf before you get to the age of thirty then it is a great way of going about it!

Boy Racers. I think that is the affectionate term for these idiots. People who have what looks like a piece of drainpipe attached to their exhaust, the obligatory ‘bass box’ in their boot and a spoiler so big that it makes their souped-up little hatchback look like a shopping trolley. It is ironic that it’s called a ‘spoiler’, isn’t it? It certainly doesn’t do any favours to the appearance of a car… And that bass box isn’t exactly convenient if you want to be able to use the boot.

Why do we have to put up with these overgrown kids in their sad little ‘chav-mobiles’? Can’t someone confiscate their Burberry seat covers and furry dice? When I am driving around and listening to one of my CDs I don’t have it on so loud that my ears bleed and everyone else can hear it.
